Each time when I plan my getaway , I do research on the location I am going to visit, interesting things to do&see and of course – place we are going to stay.
Those of you who have been following my online journey know that we’ve welcomed our first baby boy Olivier Adam in January. It’s been amazing yet life changing experience for us! With Easter weekend approaching I’ve decided to getaway from Calgary and celebrate it somewhere with my small family. It wasn’t an easy decision for me to make– as I’ve never left the city for Easter celebration since I came to Canada (I love the whole atmosphere of getting everything ready, including cooking and baking ) – but I knew it will be a good one – especially if we would spend that time of the year in Kelowna!!
If you’ve never been there – it is definitely one of those places you should put on your bucket list to visit in Canada. Doesn’t matter if you take a flight or drive to get there – you will know you are close because of the beautiful Okanagan Lake that has over 30 beaches in the area as well as wineries – just 30 in Kelowna itself and over 200 in the Okanagan Valley. Personally, beside wineries which are one of highlights for me – I love the fact that Kelowna and surroundings are internationally renowned for locally grown fruit and produce!!
